The European Life Sciences recruitment industry has seen a lot of changes in the past few years with cross-border mergers as well as the economy impacting on the ways that ways that pharmaceutical companies and others do their recruitment.

As well as pharmaceutical companies, CROs and Biotechs building up their in-house internal recruitment teams, there have been a large number of UK based specialist search firms and consultancies expanding their horizons more extensively across Europe. Also, as ever in a recession, there have been new entrants into this market from other sectors, notably the IT sector, some more successful than others.

We are dealing with a combination of in-house internal recruitment roles within life sciences companies and roles within recruitment consultancies for the Life Sciences industry. The recruitment companies are search firms and specialist consultancies, some of them global search firms, some of UK based consultancies with a presence overseas and some of them individual to that particular country.
